How to Participate

The best part about Read for the Record is that everyone is invited to join in on the fun! No matter where you live or how old you are, all you need is a copy of Quackers or access to a computer with internet. When you register to read, you’ll receive campaign news and updates on all things Read for the Record. Plus, we’ll include the number of children and adults you plan to read with in our record-breaking total.

Here are 7 simple steps to help this Read for the Record celebration the best one yet!

Report your participation
After you read, let us know the total number of children and adults that you read with (including yourself) on the big day! Last year, over 2.3 million adults and children participated in Jumpstart’s Read for the Record and we hope to break that record again in 2017!

Together, we can help all children build the key language and literacy skills they need to take on the world.
