Jumpstart’s first franchise partnership began in the 2015 -2016 school year in Hartsville, South Carolina, providing services to a previously unreached area of the south. This partnership represents a new service area for Jumpstart as it extends its footprint, adding South Carolina to the southern states it serves. Jumpstart hopes to grow this partnership over the next three years to include more children from rural areas, a population that is difficult to reach with the traditional Jumpstart model.
