About Mark Ronson

Mark Ronson is an internationally renowned DJ, OSCAR® Winner, and 7x GRAMMY-award winning producer and songwriter with a career highlighted by work on a multi-Grammy-winning album by Amy Winehouse, his own Grammy-winning, global smash hit with Bruno Mars, “Uptown Funk,” and  co-writing the song “Shallow,” recorded by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper for A Star Is Born, for which he earned an Academy Award for “Best Original Song,” a Golden Globe Award for “Best Song Written for a Motion Picture,” and two Grammy Awards. Ronson is also the recipient of two Brit Awards and an MTV VMA Award.

Most recently, Ronson served as the executive music producer of the Barbie The Album soundtrack for the 2023 motion picture Barbie, which has quickly become a worldwide pop phenomenon with over 1 billion global streams and counting.  Alongside Andrew Wyatt, and Barbie writer/director/executive producer and 3x OSCAR® Nominee, Greta Gerwig, Ronson composed the music for the film.

Along with his work in film and releasing five successful albums under his own name, Ronson’s resume includes award-winning production and collaborations with some of music’s biggest names, including Dua Lipa, Adele, Lady Gaga (Joanne album), Paul McCartney, Miley Cyrus, Queens of the Stone Age, Diplo, Lizzo, Duran Duran, and more.

Ronson is currently based in New York where he operates his record label, Zelig Records, home to fast rising stars including King Princess.
