Jumpstart is excited to partner with the Boston Children’s Museum to host a Read for the Record celebration for children and families on October 25!

You’re invited to join us as we read this year’s official Read for the Record book, Maybe Something Beautiful, and take part in fun activities and art projects inspired by the book.

Museum staff will host a story time reading at 11am and again at 12pm at the Common Stage. Volunteers from Jumpstart and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt will help children design their own birds just like Mira’s bird in the book, and participate in other fun crafts.

The first 50 families in attendance will receive a copy of Maybe Something Beautiful. The event is free with museum admission.
