The Atlanta Advisory Board invites you to their Annual Read for the Record Kick-off party! Join us for light appetizers and beer and wine, while learning how you can get involved in this year’s Read for the Record. James Cole, Jr. will also join us as the evening’s guest speaker. We hope you’ll join us in kicking-off this year’s Read for the Record campaign with a fun celebration in downtown Atlanta.

Special Guest

James Cole Jr., former Deputy Secretary of the Department of Education under President Obama. Prior to his role as Deputy Secretary, Cole served as General Counsel for the Dept. of Education and later for the Dept. of Transportation. Cole also previously served on the board of directors of the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund. Cole is also the newest member of Jumpstart’s National Board of Directors.
