We know the research behind early learning and its long-term impacts. Yet, as underserved children face substantial learning loss due to COVID-19, child care centers, the first formal education spaces for many children, are collapsing.

Access to quality early learning opportunities also has a significant impact on children from low-income families and these investments have a net positive effect on the workforce and economy.

Federal support is critical for the sector and for children right now.
