Tufts Corps Member Awarded Newman Civic Fellowship

March 6, 2018 (BOSTON) — Jumpstart is excited to congratulate a Jumpstart Corps member at Tufts University, Griffen Saul, for being named one of the 2018 Newman Civic Fellows! Campus Compact, a national alliance of colleges and universities, is devoted to increasing student and faculty civic engagement and awards nominated undergraduates to be a part of their Newman Fellowship Program each year. Newman Civic Fellows are nominated by college and university presidents for their commitment and leadership within their surrounding community, and this year Tufts President Anthony Monaco nominated Saul for the 2018 program.

‘”Griffen has made invaluable contributions to Jumpstart, a program that provides a literacy-based curriculum for youth in under-served communities…” — Anthony Monaco, Tufts University President’

Congratulations, Griffen!
