Jumpstart YPB Member Recognized by Warriors Community Foundation

November 27, 2017 (SAN FRANCISCO) — Jumpstart was thrilled to have one of our Northern California Young Professionals Board (YPB) members recognized by the Warriors Community Foundation at their November 27th game. We are grateful to the Warriors Community Foundation for giving us the opportunity to acknowledge Jumpstart volunteer and YPB member Jeff Cole as a Walmart Community Playmaker. Jeff, a manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, is a champion of advancing our mission to support early literacy and kindergarten readiness in high-need communities. With Jeff’s support, Jumpstart continues to work towards the day every child in America enters kindergarten prepared to succeed.

As a member of Jumpstart’s Northern California YPB, Jeff works to expand the organization’s impact and visibility in the Bay Area; over the last few years, he has dedicated countless hours to Jumpstart as an advocate, fundraiser, and volunteer. Volunteering directly with children has given Jeff a deeper understanding and passion for Jumpstart’s work around early literacy. He is committed to the pursuit of Jumpstart’s mission so that every young student, regardless of their socioeconomic circumstance, is afforded a level opportunity to achieve a lifetime of academic success. Jumpstart is thrilled to be part of the Warriors Community Foundation’s family of grantees supporting educational equity in Alameda and San Francisco counties.
