Black Friday and Cyber Monday are behind us, and #GivingTuesday is here! In the spirit of holiday giving, people around the world are taking time today to support causes that are near and dear to their heart.
There are so many ways to give your time, your money, or your expertise to make the world a better place. Every day throughout the year, our partners and supporters enable Jumpstart Corps members to go into preschool classrooms in low-income neighborhoods and implement a proven early education program to serve children who will benefit the most.
We’re all about giving: giving Corps members training to become future educators, giving communities and families resources to foster learning, and giving all children a fair chance at success.
#GivingTuesday is a special day to celebrate the spirit of generosity in ways big and small. Are you in?
Here are three easy ways to join the movement and give back today.
$25 provides crayons so children can learn to write their names. Give $50 and you’ll introduce three year olds to song and rhythm using customized song charts. And your $100 gift reinforces learning at home through family literacy kits.
Text BOOK to 90999 to give $10 to Jumpstart* to help fund high-quality early learning experiences for the 11,000 children we serve. It’s one of the quickest and easiest way to give back this #GivingTuesday. And if there’s one thing we see every day at Jumpstart, it’s that small actions can make a big difference.
While you’re on your phone, text your friends to join the #GivingTuesday movement.
Thanks to News Generation, we’re in the running to win $5,000 to support the life-changing service of our Corps members, but we need your vote. Voting is simple and fast. Thanks for your support!
Did you know? $5,000 will help us prepare the next generation of education leaders through a full year of in-depth training.
No matter how you give this #GivingTuesday, we want to say thank you. Thank you for playing a part in closing America’s kindergarten-readiness gap. Thank you for enabling moments of transformative service for thousands of volunteers every day. And thank you for taking time today to put children first.
