Naila Bolus, Jumpstart’s President and CEO, is excited to welcome Sharon Reilly as our new Executive Director of the Tri-State Region.
To provide the children we serve with the highest quality early education experiences possible, we know it’s important to have the most talented and passionate individuals leading the charge. With that priority in mind, today we welcome Sharon Reilly to the Jumpstart family as our new Executive Director of the Tri-State Region.
Sharon comes to Jumpstart most recently from leading the Women’s Lunch Place in Boston, where she spearheaded the design and implementation of a comprehensive evaluation system to measure the impact and efficacy of the organization's services. Her professional career has crossed every sector, from higher education to the Fortune 500, including time spent at the Food Project, Beverly Enterprises, and the National Marrow Donor Program.
We are certainly not the first ones to recognize the wealth of experience and drive Sharon brings to her cause-driven work. Most recently she received the Pinnacle Award and was featured in the book Boston: 100 Inspirational Women. Her list of accolades is truly impressive, and we’re eager to have Sharon put her passion to work for our youngest learners and their families in New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey.
Originally from Mississippi, Sharon has always been dedicated to issues of social justice. We’re confident she will bring even more energy to our thriving Jumpstart Tri-State communities as we embark on an exciting period of growth in the region.
Sharon is a true champion for the underserved, and we know that our Corps members, community partners, and supporters in the Tri-State area will be inspired by her leadership. Today she joins a national network of 4,300 Jumpstart Corps members, 200 communities, and countless passionate supporters, all of whom have come together to make the ideal of putting children first in everything we do a reality.
