Jumpstart in the Northeast

Massachusetts and Rhode Island

Currently, Jumpstart partners more than 800 college student and community volunteers to work with 1,800 Massachusetts and Rhode Island preschool children living in low-income neighborhoods in Greater Boston, Southeast Massachusetts, and the Merrimack Valley. Together, for the entire school year, they work on the language and literacy skills these children need to succeed not only in school, but also in life.
