Internet Privacy Policy
Jumpstart for Young Children, Inc. is a national non-profit organization committed to ensuring that every child in America enters school prepared to succeed. Jumpstart believes that when an individual provides one-to-one attention to a child, they spark a life. Jstart.org is the online address for families and their children, early education programs, civic minded citizens and corporations, college students, and the media to find out more about our organization, our practices, and our results.
What Information is Collected?
Jstart.org will not collect personally identifiable information about you -- your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, or payment and billing information -- unless you provide it to us voluntarily. For any personally identifiable information we collect from you online, you may: opt out of having your information used for any reason other than follow-up correspondence from us in response to your request, or restrict how this information is being used by indicating your preferences on the form we use to collect information or by e-mail. Jstart.org uses the collected information to improve our content, notify Jstart.org visitors of Web updates, and validate visitors' Jstart.org affiliation to allow them to access select Jstart.org resources.
Privacy of Our E-mail List: Jstart.org maintains an e-mail list for those who have previously donated and those we have an existing relationship with but have not yet subscribed to our e-mail updates. From time to time, we may send an e-mail update to those on this list. A carefully selected third party service provider may be used to send our e-mails on our behalf, but our service providers are authorized to use your e-mail address only to deliver Jumpstart e-mail updates.
