JUMPSTART VOLUNTEERS TELL THEIR STORIES
This school year, 3,500 Jumpstart college students (called Corps members) are working one-to-one with at-risk preschoolers to prepare them for kindergarten. JUMPSTART GETS CELEBRITY TREATMENT
On September 20, Jumpstart broke its own world record for the greatest shared reading experience ever, reaching over 250,000 children! Celebrities who joined the cause included First Lady Laura Bush, TV's Mariska Hargitay, Matt Lauer, Meredith Vieira, Wyclef Jean, LL Cool J (pictured right), and many more.
