Massachusetts and Rhode Island
Currently, Jumpstart partners more than 800 college student and community volunteers to work with 1,800 Massachusetts and Rhode Island preschool children living in low-income neighborhoods in Greater Boston, Southeast Massachusetts, and the Merrimack Valley. Together, for the entire school year, they work on the language and literacy skills these children need to succeed not only in school, but also in life. Jumpstart in the Tri-State area
New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut
Jumpstart brings together Corps members and preschool children in low-income neighborhoods to help these children develop the language and literacy skills they need to be successful in school, setting them on a path to close the achievement gap before it is too late. This school year, 816 college students from fifteen university partners will work with over 2,000 preschool children in New York City, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

Jumpstart in Washington, DC
Currently, Jumpstart partners 300 Corps members to work with over 700 Washington, DC preschool children living in low-income neighborhoods in and around the district. Together, for the entire 2012-2013 school year, they will work on the language and literacy skills these children need to succeed not only in school, but also in life.

The Campus Based region provides the best possible experience and support to sites and community partners not in a market. Sites within the Campus Based Region represent a significant portion of the Jumpstart network, covering 5 states and 8 cities across the country. The region works to incubate future markets for Jumpstart growth.
