Celebrity Readers

Celebrity readers help us shine a spotlight on the importance of literacy in early childhood development. Jumpstart's Read for the Record®, presented in partnership with the Pearson Foundation, is a campaign that brings together millions of Americans to celebrate literacy by breaking the world record for reading the same book on the same day. Jumpstart’s Read for the Record® campaign has benefited from consistent celebrity support over the years, including actress Bridget Moynahan, singer Justin Bieber, actress Mary-Louise Parker, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, actor Bill Cosby and singer Patti LaBelle.
